# ScrapingCow documentation

ScrapingCow provides direct HTML fetching, durable asynchronous jobs, and recurring requests through an API and dashboard.

## Start here

1. [Request access and create an API key](./authentication).
2. [Fetch a page directly](./fetching) or [create an asynchronous job](./jobs).
3. [Schedule recurring requests](./schedules).

## Use your workspace

The dashboard includes separate pages for [Overview](https://dash.scrapingcow.com/overview), [Jobs](https://dash.scrapingcow.com/jobs), [Endpoints](https://dash.scrapingcow.com/endpoints), [Schedules](https://dash.scrapingcow.com/schedules), [Configurations](https://dash.scrapingcow.com/configurations), [Webhooks](https://dash.scrapingcow.com/webhooks), [API keys](https://dash.scrapingcow.com/api-keys), [Workspaces](https://dash.scrapingcow.com/workspaces), [Billing](https://dash.scrapingcow.com/billing) and [Settings](https://dash.scrapingcow.com/settings). Job details and schedule history also have their own URLs. These pages can be bookmarked; after sign-in, the dashboard returns to a validated requested destination.

Access follows the role for the selected workspace. Owners manage members, API keys, webhooks and billing actions. Owners and members can run jobs and specialized endpoints and create or change jobs, schedules and configurations; viewers have read-only branches, and the server independently rejects viewer writes. Accounts can create and switch workspaces, while only owners can add, change or remove members.

Settings shows your workspace and profile. Open Security to change your password, sign out all sessions, and link, verify or remove an email address. Profile edits and workspace-name changes require your operator; use Workspaces to create or switch workspaces and, as an owner, manage members.

## Availability

This is an early release. Signup requests require operator review. Browser rendering, OAuth, MFA and complete compatibility with the inherited upstream API contract are unavailable; email password recovery works only for accounts with a verified address. A limited set of specialized endpoint forms is present and still depends on a plan that allows specialized APIs; it is not full endpoint coverage or behavioral parity. Read [current availability](./availability) before integrating.

## Billing

[Compare monthly plans](https://scrapingcow.com/pricing/). Paid Stripe checkout is currently disabled/unconfigured. Billing shows credits, reservations and plans, and explains that a workspace operator must activate payments; checkout and portal actions become available only after activation. Read the [billing guide](./billing).
